Basic Swipe Instructions

Swipe left = Next Track

Swipe right = Previous Track

Swipe up = Skip Album/Release

Tap Screen = Stop/Start the Track

Full Mode/Excerpt Switch = Switch between Full Song Mode (playing the full song in your Spotify App) and Excerpt Mode (playing a short snippet for preview)

Swipe down = Show Swipe Context Menu

For swiping on your Desktop Computer you can use mouse gestures or arrow buttons

Swipe Context Menu Functions

Follow/Unfollow Artist = Follow the artist that is currently playing on Spotify.

Follow/Unfollow Playlist = Follow or unfollow the playlist that is currently playing on Spotify.

Track TO Playlist = If it doesn’t exist, create a playlist named "TuneSwiper" in your Spotify App and add the current track to it.

Album TO Playlist = If it doesn’t exist, create a playlist called "TuneSwiper" in your Spotify App and add the complete album/release containing the current track.

Track TO Bookmarks = Bookmark the current track inside TuneSwiper. Access your bookmarks via the "Bookmarks" button in the right side menu.

Add TO MyPlaylists = Add the current playlist to your MyPlaylists section. Switch to MyPlaylists Mode using the yellow button in the right side menu.

Copy Release Text = Copy the artist and album name of the current release to your clipboard.

Copy Release Link = Copy the Spotify link of the current release to your clipboard.

Cancel = Close the swipe down menu.

Right Side Main Menu

Right Side Menu = Open by clicking the green button with the three bars (hamburger menu).

Logout Button = If something isn’t working, log out and reconnect with your Spotify Premium login.

Options = Choose your preferred TuneSwipe channels (New Releases, Curated, Recordbox). These selections automatically subscribe/unsubscribe on Spotify and will be added to TuneSwiper under the yellow mode switcher. Close the options menu with the red close button.

Load Playlist/Album = Paste a Spotify Playlist or Album link into the form field and click the blue "Load" button.

Refresh = Used in Crabhands Mode for updating the playlists. Ignore if not using the Crabhands Service.

Bookmarks = View and manage your bookmarked tracks. For each bookmark, you can:

• Copy URL to clipboard
• Copy IDs to clipboard (list of track URIs)
• Open on Spotify or YouTube
• Play the complete release in TuneSwiper
• Delete the bookmark

Mode Instructions

The Yellow Mode Switcher lets you discover music based on your interests:

• New Releases Mode: 70+ genre-based channels with full EPs or albums. Swipe up to skip an entire release.
• Curated Mode: Handpicked single tracks reflecting the curator’s personal taste.
• Recordbox Mode: Explore up to 10 random record boxes filled with classics, underground gems, and more.
• MyPlaylists Mode: Add Spotify playlists to TuneSwiper for quick access (use the "Add TO MyPlaylists" option).
• Crabhands Mode: Automatically updates new releases from your favorite artists via Crabhands. (Visit their website for more details.)

Thanks for testing TuneSwiper. As this is an early alpha version, some features might not work perfectly or may change in the future. Please avoid bookmarking anything you can’t afford to lose.
