New Streams is our system for discovering new releases on Spotify across more than 780 music genres.

Choose the genres you want to hear, browse releases in a practical database view, or open the swiper and listen your way through the selection. Swipe from release to release, move between tracks and decide what deserves another listen.

The swiper can play available excerpts without Spotify Premium. Connect a Spotify Premium account and you can switch to full-song playback.

New Streams is made for curious listeners, music nerds, DJs and music professionals who want to keep up with new releases in their favorite genres. Artists and Labels can add their releases

Dig through 17,000+ music reviews

The TuneSwiper Collection is our growing archive of more than 17,000 music reviews, covering releases from the 1950s to today.

You can choose a time span, select music genres, search for artists or releases, watch embedded videos and build your own selection. When you find something interesting, send it to the swiper and start listening.

The Collection is meant for browsing without having to know exactly what you are looking for. Spend some time in one era, jump into a genre you rarely hear, or mix old records with newer discoveries.

Excerpts are available through the swipe player when previews exist. With Spotify Premium connected, you can listen to complete songs and releases. Do you think you album release should be part of the collection? Let us know.

Send us your music

If you make music, run a label and have one or more releases for our new streams database of for the collection, send it to us.

You can use our music submission form to send a digital release link. We are interested in discovering music ourselves, so submissions are actually listened to and considered for TuneSwiper.

Physical releases are welcome too. We collect music and are always happy to receive vinyl records and CDs by mail. If you still put the time and money into making a physical edition, we would like to know about it.

There is no requirement to be a major label or have a large following. We are interested in music we enjoy and releases that make sense for TuneSwiper. The use of AI is also ok for us.

Promotion pages for artists and labels

TuneSwiper Promotion is a separate part of the project for artists and labels who want a dedicated place to present their music.

A Promotion account can start with an artist or label page and add individual release pages underneath it. Pages can include release information, artwork, audio, links, press material and downloads. They can also be used to collect ratings and comments from listeners.

You can see an example on TuneSwiper in the otticmusic labelgroup / otticmusic AI promotion area.

TuneSwiper Promotion is currently invite only. Access is available to accepted members of the ottic.de social network.

If you would like to try it, you can request an ottic.de invite code through the invite request page. During the beta period, invite codes and TuneSwiper Promotion pages are free for a limited time while we test the system. We give access selectively to music creators whose work we like and would like to see on the platform.

Every request is reviewed, so please allow some time for an answer.

There is more to play with

TuneSwiper also has its own Spotify Search. Search the Spotify catalogue for artists, releases or tracks, narrow the results and send what you find straight into the swiper.

And when you want some fun, there are two music games.

Hit or Miss is a multiplayer music quiz built around listening and recognising songs. Vinyl Millionaire turns record collecting into a fast trading game where you buy and pass on records while trying to build your virtual vinyl fortune.

Both are part of the same idea behind TuneSwiper: spend more time with music and find something along the way.
